Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions are there for the protection and clarification of providers, seekers and the Mankind organization.

Mankind's goal is to show the world what exists in the field of development and well-being for people, nature and the planet.

​

Mankind offers subscription services that offer providers access via the internet to have themselves or their organization placed on the Mankind website and all connected platforms.

 

Mankind acts conscientiously, sustainably, openly and always with the right intention, the same is expected of all providers.

 

Mankind does not place irrelevant advertising and is independent. Mankind does not request payment of proceeds from services provided or tickets sold.

 

Use of this service is subject to these terms of use.

 

The word “Mankind” in these terms and conditions means: The Mankind organization with all services on all relevant affiliated platforms.

 

The word “Providers” in these conditions means: The coach, healer, organization, foundation or entity that wants to make itself visible on Mankind.

 

The word “Searchers” in these terms and conditions means: The person(s) who wants to use Mankind (free of charge) to search, discover and make connections with the providers.

 

All texts, photos and data are copyrighted and may not be copied or used in ways that are harmful to Mankind.

 

The name Mankind, Mankind.coach, the logo, the concept, the corporate identity, etc. are unique and may not be used without permission. Lists and content may not be used to the detriment of Mankind. Mankind protects itself against theft and copycats and is open to cooperation and strengthening each other.

1. Provider Membership 
1.1.Your paid Mankind membership will continue until canceled. You can choose from several payment methods. “Payment Method” means a current, valid, accepted method of payment as may be updated from time to time. Payments via your account with a third party also fall under the term Payment Method. You authorize us to charge your Payment Instrument for your membership fee for the upcoming billing cycle, unless you cancel your membership before your billing date (see “Cancellation” below). 

1.2.We may offer different types of subscriptions, including subscriptions offered by third parties in combination with their own products and services. Some subscriptions may have different terms and restrictions. These terms will be provided to you when you register or will be included in other communications addressed to you. You will receive specific information about your Mankind account in your personal Mankind overview.

​1.3. Conditions for posting something:  Any placement on mankind must fit in with Mankind's mission and vision. The main criteria is that your placement must benefit people, animals and the planet. Mankind is not intended for advertising, medicine, religion, politics or other irrelevant or unhealthy topics.

1.4.1 Placement category Healers and Coaches: you declare that you have entered all necessary information truthfully. Your photos must be real. You truthfully declare your specialization. If your specialty has been changed or discontinued, you must indicate this in Mankind. You declare that you are one person, if there are two or more of you: then choose the second category.

 

1.4.2 Placement category of organizations: you declare that you have entered all necessary information truthfully. Your photos must be real. You truthfully declare the specialization(s) of your organization. If your specialization has been discontinued, you must indicate this in Mankind.

 

1.4.3. Placement category fairs and festivals: you declare that you have entered all necessary information truthfully. The photos must be real. You truthfully declare the nature and details of the event.  If the event is changed or canceled, you must immediately report this in Mankind.

 

1.4.4. Placement category travel and retreats: you declare that you have entered all necessary information truthfully. The photos must be real. If the destination changes or is no longer available, you must immediately change it to Mankind. You are only eligible if your destination is for personal growth and well-being.

 

1.4.5. Media category placement:Placement is free provided you meet the conditions. You declare that you have entered all necessary information truthfully. This is how we know you are a real person. Your placement is a type of media that is educational or inspiring for people, animals and the planet. Mankind reserves the right to change or remove the posting at any time without notice and without liability. All placements must not harm the quality and intent. The goal is to show the world what exists for people, animals and nature and Mankind offers free platforms for this. Criteria for not posting content can be: poor quality, incomprehensible, advertising purposes or irrelevant topics. If you want to post content that is not yours, you are responsible for the applicable rights such as copyright. It is often important to always mention the source.

 

1.4.6.  Placement category: a better world: Installation is free provided it meets the conditions. You declare that you have entered all necessary information truthfully. This is how we know you are a real person. You post an initiative that contributes to the well-being and development of people, animals and nature. The goal is to offer great initiatives a free platform to inspire others. Mankind reserves the right to change or remove the posting at any time without notice and without liability. All initiatives must not harm the quality and intention.

 

1.4.7. Legal connections: Mankind cannot check which person or company has the correct connections, partly for privacy reasons. When agreeing to these conditions, the provider declares that the provider is in compliance with legal connections. In Belgium, for example, psychologists are required to have annual registration in the psychologists' committee.

 

1.4.8. Providers are strictly prohibited from providing misleading information or entering anything other than their own specialization(s). Don't exaggerate and never use other people's data.

 

1.4.9.It is prohibited to post services, media or products that are contrary to the law.

 

1.5.If in doubt, Mankind can contact the provider. If you do not cooperate, the provider may be removed or not placed.

2. Promotional offers.

We may periodically offer special promotional offers, subscriptions or memberships ("Offers"). Terms and conditions for the offer will be determined by Mankind in our sole discretion and we reserve the right to withdraw any Offer and block your account if we determine that you do not qualify. Information used for an existing or recent membership, such as a device ID, payment method, or email address, helps us determine your eligibility for an Offer. The terms and other restrictions and conditions will be disclosed when you register for the Offer or in other communications made available to you. 

 

3. Billing and cancellation 
3.1. Billing cycle.

Membership for the Mankind service will be charged to your Payment Method on the specific payment date indicated on the 'Account' page. The length of the billing cycle depends on the type of subscription you choose when you sign up for the service. In some cases the payment date may be changed, for example if we were unable to charge your Payment Method, if you change your subscription or if your paid membership started on a day that does not occur in a certain month.

3.2. Payment methods.

To register as a provider in Mankind, you choose one or more payment methods. You authorize us, if your primary Payment Method is declined or if this Payment Method is no longer available, to charge the subscription fee to any of the other Payment Methods linked to your account. You remain responsible for amounts that we have not been able to collect. If a payment is not processed because, for example, the expiration date of your Payment Method(s) has passed or the balance is too low and you do not cancel your account, we may suspend your access to the service until we have been able to charge a valid Payment Method . The provider may charge you certain costs for the use of some Payment Methods, such as costs for international transactions or other costs for processing your Payment Method. Local taxes may differ per Payment Method. For more information, please contact the provider of your Payment Method. 

3.3. Update your Payment Methods.

You can update your Payment Methods on the 'Account' page. We may also update your Payment Methods using information provided by the payment service providers. You authorize us to continue charging the applicable Payment Methods if a Payment Method is updated. 

3.4. Termination.

You can cancel your Mankind placement at any time. After you cancel, you will retain access until the end of your billing period. Payments are non-refundable and we do not offer refunds or credits for partial membership periods or for unused services. To cancel, go to your Account page and follow the cancellation instructions. If you cancel your membership, your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period.

 

3.5. Changes in price and subscriptions.

We may change our plans and the price of our service from time to time. We will never do this without notice. However, any price or subscription changes will not apply until 30 days after notice. If you do not want to accept the price change or change your subscription, you can cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

 

3.6. Termination.

Mankind can remove or cancel your placement at any time if the conditions are not met. When placing and paying, the provider is responsible if it does not meet the conditions and no refund is possible. 

 

4. Mankind Service 
4.1.You must be at least eighteen years old to place yourself at Mankind. Minors may only use the service under the supervision of an adult. 

4.2.Your Mankind connection is personal to you or your company and may not be transferred.

4.3.The Mankind Services, including the Content Catalog, are regularly updated and tested.

4.4.Unless expressly permitted by us, you agree not to:

(i) archive, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, sell any content and information contained in or obtained from or through the Mankind Service offer, use or create derivative works thereof;

 

(ii) circumvent, remove, modify, disable, restrict, block, obscure or interfere with any content protection or other portion of the Mankind Service, including copyright or trademark graphics;

 

(iii) use robots, spiders, scrapers or other automated means to access the Mankind Service;

 

(iv) decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any software or other products or processes accessible through the Mankind Service;

 

(v) embed any code or products or manipulate the content of the Mankind Service in any way; (vi) use any data mining, data harvesting or extraction methods;

 

(vii) upload, post, email or otherwise send or transmit any material designed to interrupt, disable or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment associated with the Mankind Service, including any software viruses or other computer code, files or programs.

We may terminate or restrict your use of our service if you violate these Terms of Use or use the service in an illegal or fraudulent manner. 

4.5.The quality of Mankind content may vary from device to device and may be affected by many factors, such as your location, available bandwidth and/or the speed of your internet connection. Availability depends on your internet service and the capabilities of the device you use.

 

4.6.To grow and inspire, Mankind distributes content on its own Mankind website, Mankind TikTok, Mankind Facebook pages, Mankind Instagram pages, emails and offline such as flyers and events. The provider agrees that his/her message, photos and descriptions may be used provided it has been expressly agreed not to use certain platforms. Mankind does not give any preference (but does provide examples and advice) and is not responsible for what is and is not posted. Mankind does not post photos and data to third parties. Mankind does not provide photos and data to third parties.

5. Complaints and accountability.

Seekers and users of services can submit complaints to the relevant provider and to Mankind itself. Mankind is a platform for connection and, as a team or as an organization, is never responsible for the consequences of providers. To protect searchers and users, Mankind may block or remove providers if a conflict is not resolved. For reasons of privacy and quality, Mankind may choose not to make complaints and their handling public. The following applies to searchers and users: report your complaint discreetly (not publicly) to the provider and give each other the opportunity for a peaceful settlement. If this does not work and in case of serious complaints, please report this to the Mankind team itself by email to info@mankind.coach

 

6. Passwords and account access.

Your password is for your use only and must be kept confidential. By providing others with access to the account (and therefore information about the account), you agree that these people are acting on your behalf and that you are bound by any changes they make to the account, including changes to the subscription. To maintain control of the account and prevent unauthorized users from accessing it, you must monitor the devices used to access the service and keep the account password and Payment Instrument details confidential. You agree to provide and maintain accurate information about your account, including a valid email address so that we can send notices regarding your account. We may terminate or temporarily block your account to protect you, Mankind or our partners from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.

 

7. Miscellaneous 
7.1. Applicable law.

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Dutch law. These terms do not limit the mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under applicable law in your country. 

7.2. Unsolicited materials.

Mankind does not accept unsolicited materials or ideas for content and is not responsible for any similarity between content and materials or ideas provided to Mankind.

7.4. Provisions that remain in force.

If any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions will remain unaffected. 

7.5. Changes to the Terms of Use.

Mankind may change these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you at least 30 days before any such changes apply to you. If you do not want to accept the changes, you can cancel your subscription before they take effect. 

7.6. Electronic communications.

We will send you information about your account (such as payment authorizations, invoices, password changes, changes to your Payment Method(s), confirmation messages and notifications) only in electronic form, for example via email to the email address you provided when you registered.

 

7.7. Force majeur:

Mankind cannot be held responsible for offline or disruptions due to force majeure, extreme weather, war, pandemic, epidemic, strike, power outage or unforeseen factors.
